1. Data Controller

This privacy policy applies to myroitool.nl, a service provided by:

2. What data do we collect?

• Email address — you provide your email address when purchasing an access token. We store only a SHA-256 hash of your email; the original address is never stored in our database.
• Calculation inputs — the settings and slider values you save in the advanced tool are stored per license (JSON format).
• Payment data — payments are processed by Mollie B.V. We never receive your card details or full banking information; Mollie only communicates payment status to us.

3. Why do we process this data?

• Performance of contract — your email hash is used to link your access token and allow token recovery. Your saved calculation is required for the tool to function.
• Legitimate interest — we retain technical error logs to detect abuse and improve the service.

4. Retention periods

Licenses and associated saved calculation data are automatically deleted when your token expires (nightly cleanup job). Once your subscription period ends, your data is no longer retained unless you extend your token. Mollie retains payment records in accordance with their own retention policy.

5. Third parties

• Mollie B.V. — payment processor. Mollie processes your payment data as an independent data controller. See Mollie's privacy policy.
• Plausible / Fathom Analytics — we use a privacy-friendly analytics tool with no cookies and no storage of personal data. No data is transferred to third countries.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
• Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
• Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
• Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

You may exercise your rights by emailing YOUR_EMAIL. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Netherlands) or the GBA (Belgium).

7. Cookies

We place no tracking or advertising cookies. Mollie sets a functional session cookie during checkout; this is strictly necessary for payment processing and does not require your consent. Our analytics tool (Plausible or Fathom) operates entirely without cookies and without storing personal data.

8. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this document reflects the most recent version.
